Resident Evil 2: Chronicles of Darkness is the second installment in the popular series. The game series started with the first title, Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, which was also an effective movie spin-off. Now, the second entry into the resident evil franchise is here and it’s better than ever! With the help of the Biohazard Code Floor Map, you’ll travel to Africa in search of Dr. Isaac’s whereabouts. Resident Evil 2: Chronicles of Darkness is set in Africa. It is not a stand-alone adventure game, like the first Resident Evil game. Instead, you play as another character, Alice, to help Alice escape from a museum. Of course, the bi-coastal conflict that occurs is the background drama, but Alice is still a significant part of this game. You’ll need to find out just how much of the world is locked behind the scenes as well, like the sewers and the facility. In fact, most of the storyline is contained in the game’s flashbacks.
The game opens up when Alice finds herself in a small town, unable to escape the mansion that seems to be right around the corner. You, too, are trapped in the facility, and Alice offers to get you out through the elevator, but unfortunately, there’s no escape without the keys. The two of you work together to figure out how to get the keys, but the place eventually fills up with hostile creatures. This leads Alice to slip into a Trance, which slows her down, causing her to trip and fall to the ground.
When she wakes up, you’ll notice that Alice has changed into a monster-like creature. After dealing with the guard at the museum who tries to shoot her, Alice makes her way through the facility, killing anything that crosses her path. Once she gets to the elevator, she hears noises downstairs, and you have to jump through a number of windows and doors in order to make it to safety.
The rest of the game takes place in Africa, where you’ll find yourself in the center of an attack. After Alice stumbles upon an experimental serum, her eyes start glowing, and she sees a figure standing next to her. The creature identifies himself as Dr. Isaac’s, and you’ll have to get through a series of rooms before you can progress to the next area. You’ll also have to deal with other zombies and dangerous situations on your journey to safety.

As you proceed through the game, you’ll come across many characters and will have to deal with a number of missions as well. When you’re in combat, look for the top corner of the screen to view a meter called energy. When the gauge is full, you are healed. By using the mouse buttons, you can attack using either the stick or the normal keyboard buttons, depending on what type of weapon you have chosen.
In addition to fighting Dr. Isaac and his army of Zombies and Facehuggers, you will also have to avoid all the creatures that are running around the grounds of the facility. To get through this part of the game, look around for a safe spot on the ground, preferably behind something that can block incoming fire from the zombies. Once you are out in the open, watch out for any group of zombies that you can run past. There are also a number of trucks in the game, and if you get stuck behind one of them, you will need to use a grappling hook to kill all of them and move on. If you take damage while grappling these zombies, you will lose a lot of health, so take care not to get hit too much and lose your momentum.
The next part of the game involves recovering the Umbrella Corp. files. These files are where you will find information about the events of the game and some secrets. Inside of them, you will find out how to jump, shoot, fight and sneak. Once you have obtained all of the data that is inside of them, you need to go back to the helicopter where you were shuttled off of and activate it. Fly away and make your way to the next area, which is a train station. There are more enemies here, but when you enter the train station, the game ends, and you start the next mission on the Resident Evil II website.
